A Mediterranean escape where art meets the sea, ideal for families or friends, combining pure tranquility with a fresh dose of contemporary comfort.
A timeless villa in Panarea
"Nestled in the natural landscape so characteristic of the Aeolian Islands, Casa Bibi is just a three-minute walk from the sea. With no cars on the island, the atmosphere is one of complete serenity, amplifying the sense of a retreat beyond time."
Just a three-minute walk from the sea and eight minutes from the village, Casa Bibi blends effortlessly into the peaceful, unspoiled atmosphere of Panarea. On this car-free island, the villa is an open invitation to slow down.
With its 400 m², six bedrooms, four bathrooms, rooftop, sauna, and jacuzzi, the villa welcomes up to 13 guests, all brought together by the same delight: experiencing the Panarean way of life. 'We wanted a house open to the light and the sea, yet discreet within the landscape,' the owners explain.
History preserved
and reimagined
The exact origins of Casa Bibi remain a mystery, and that is part of its charm. Typical of Panarean architecture, it was restored in 2014 by Les Maisons CAB in collaboration with Studio Tecnico Picone of Lipari. The goal was to preserve authenticity while offering discreet, refined comfort.

When art
meets the sea

Inside, every detail breathes Panarea. The selected artworks connect with the island’s soul, from a vibrant fresco by Mathis Bensimon that captures local culture in bold colors to an installation by Meryem Bayram, all geometry and abstraction. The décor balances Mediterranean minimalism with artistic flair.
The living spaces are generous and full of light, designed above all for the dolce vita: cooking, dining, savoring a drink while gazing at the sea. In the bedrooms, mornings open onto such a breathtaking panorama that you might hesitate between lingering in bed or hurrying down to the beach.

"Surrounded by Mediterranean greenery and bathed in light, the house opens onto wide sea views and blends effortlessly into the local landscape, where raw nature meets understated, elegant architecture."
Tailor-made
dolce vita
Casa Bibi exudes a serene, almost timeless atmosphere. 'Here, you lose all sense of time,' the owners say. To perfect the stay, a dedicated concierge handles every detail—from booking a table or planning a boat trip to revealing the secret cove only locals know. For those who want a bit more action, paddleboarding, diving, hiking, and even boat rentals are all on offer.
While Casa Bibi is a destination in itself, the island of Panarea is well worth exploring. Hike along volcanic trails, dive into crystal-clear waters, discover the prehistoric ruins of Cala Junco, or wander through the whitewashed lanes of the village. Between swims, travelers can savor generous local cuisine at the harbor’s restaurants before retreating to the serenity of the house to recharge.
