Casa Elias is a long-held dream come true for Rita, the owner and a marketing and communications specialist. Passionate about interior design, she wanted to create a place that reflects her vision of life: simple, warm, and authentic. Originally from Lisbon and now living in this part of the Algarve with her Spanish husband and their two children, she also wanted to honour her grandfather by giving the house his name.

Every detail has been carefully considered so that guests feel completely at home, only better. Rita’s goal is simple: to offer an experience that celebrates life’s little pleasures, from peaceful mornings and shared meals to evenings spent beneath the stars.

Casa Elias has preserved its traditional soul while welcoming modern comfort. Wooden and cane ceilings recall the region’s ancestral craftsmanship, while the two outdoor fireplaces capture the rustic charm of rural Portugal.

Inside, locally handcrafted woven chairs stand beside contemporary designer pieces, creating a seamless harmony between authenticity and comfort. Every object and texture has been carefully chosen to foster an atmosphere that feels both cozy and inspiring. Here, the sense of being on holiday begins the moment you step inside.

The house is only a ten-minute drive from Silves, a charming medieval town, and about thirty minutes from the Algarve’s beaches.
