Casa Nostra

Before becoming Casa Nostra, the house was a 19th-century farmhouse. Long uninhabited, it had become dark and closed-off. When the current owners had the chance to buy it, they started from scratch, preserving only the original foundations.

No roof, no ceilings, no interior walls. The inspired couple rebuilt everything — but better: using reclaimed, time-worn Provençal materials, carefully restored and brought back to life — antique terracotta tiles, honey-colored stone, oak beams…

Indoors, the lady of the house imagined, sourced, and curated every detail — from treasures unearthed at the Eygalières flea markets to local antiques and a few standout pieces, with Marc Nucera leading the way.

There’s a vast, fully equipped kitchen, light-filled living spaces, a mix of wood and polished concrete, clean lines, and zero fuss. Comforts are fully modern — underfloor heating, fiber-optic Wi-Fi, smart home tech — but the charm stays deliciously rustic.

Outside, the garden sets the tone. Designed by Dominique Lafourcade and brought to life by Benjamin Moricelly, it strikes the perfect balance between beauty and wild spontaneity. With fountains, a vegetable garden, a plant maze, a lookout platform over the Alpilles, and fields of lavender, it’s the kind of place you’ll love getting lost in—morning, noon, or night.

Then there’s the greenhouse: once a seedling space, now a stunning multipurpose room. You can cook here (semi-professionally), dance (yes, there’s a DJ corner), host guests, or simply curl up with a book and soak in the garden views.
