An exceptional chalet in the heart of the Alps
"The chalet is nestled into the mountainside and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It blends seamlessly into its surroundings, with large openings that offer panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and the valley below."
Chalet Bibi, owned by the mountain enthusiasts behind Cab Houses, is tucked into the mountainside in Verbier. Here, time seems to slow down: the majestic peaks, sweeping valley views, and pure alpine air are a reminder that true luxury can go hand in hand with simplicity. The owners have managed to preserve the soul of the place while opening it up to those seeking inspiring escapes.
The story of the chalet remains somewhat discreet, but its charm lies in the subtle blend of alpine tradition and modernity. Built with noble local materials—polished wood, granite, and slate—Chalet Bibi was designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape while offering contemporary comfort. With its refined architecture, artistic décor, and spectacular views, Chalet Bibi embodies the very best of the Swiss Alps.
Of art
and mountains
In 2002, architect Grégoire Romina led a full renovation of the chalet, aiming to modernize the spaces without betraying its original alpine spirit. The result: a sanctuary featuring six bedrooms and six bathrooms, a sauna, a hammam, and a jacuzzi—perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing or hiking.
Chalet Bibi stands out for its refined interior, where alpine elegance meets contemporary furnishings. Every detail has been carefully considered: works by Alexander Calder, including mobiles and sculptures, are scattered throughout, creating a subtle dialogue between art and nature. The spacious, light-filled common areas offer panoramic views of the Alps, ideal for contemplation or dreaming of your next adventure.

Nestled into the mountainside, Chalet Bibi is the perfect base for discovering Verbier and everything around it. In winter, you can ski, snowboard, or head out on snowshoes through magical alpine landscapes. Craving adrenaline? Try off-piste skiing. Prefer to stay in? The sauna, hammam, and Nordic bath have you covered.
In summer, the mountains turn into a playground. Hike, cycle, climb, or cool off by a mountain lake with a picnic and a view. And of course, there's the village itself — traditional chalets, great food, and the Verbier Festival, which draws musicians and music lovers from around the world.
