Perched in the Serre Chevalier valley, Chalet Cicea is a true family retreat in the heart of the Alps. Its owners, a couple of entrepreneurs, first discovered the region twenty years ago during regular visits and quickly fell in love with it. Over time, the dream of building their own mountain home took shape, and in 2019, they found the perfect plot. By June 2024, their vision had become a reality—a chalet that is both modern and welcoming, designed to host family and friends in an exceptional setting.
Spanning 350 m², Chalet Cicea was designed for large, lively gatherings! With five bedrooms and a five-bed dormitory—each with its own private bathroom—it comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests. Thoughtfully equipped down to the last detail, the chalet features a sauna, a private cinema room, and even a fully equipped meeting space for those working remotely in the mountains. And the best part? Hotel-style services that ensure you can simply relax and enjoy your stay!

Throughout the chalet’s construction, the owners were committed to working exclusively with local craftsmen—from the architect to the carpenters and interior designers. Built from aged larch, Chalet Cicea seamlessly blends Alpine tradition with modern comfort, all within a resolutely sustainable approach. Inspired by Swiss and Austrian design, the chalet was designed to maximize natural light. Its cathedral-style living room and expansive bay windows frame breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. In winter, the sun naturally warms the interior, while in summer, its orientation prevents overheating, ensuring comfort year-round.

The interior of Chalet Cicea was designed by Atelier Monts & Merveilles, founded in 2012 by Clément Goudet, a Master Carpenter and Cabinetmaker renowned for his expertise in reclaimed wood and natural materials. The result? A refined décor featuring high-end materials, from hotel-quality bedding to Bolia sofas.
Each floor is designed to meet a specific need: a spacious living area on the ground floor, a fully equipped meeting room—perfect for remote work and video calls—and two master bedrooms on the first floor, along with bedrooms and dorm-style rooms offering views of the slopes and glaciers. Finally, the second basement level is dedicated to leisure, featuring a spa, sauna, home theater, and billiards.
“Designed for large groups, the chalet ensures optimal comfort for everyone thanks to a well-thought-out layout. Guests can gather all together or find privacy as they wish. And for tech enthusiasts, everything is connected—heating, keyless entry, multimedia space…” explains the owner.
