Chalet d’Élé is not your typical alpine retreat. While wooden furniture is a staple, here it's custom-made, meticulously designed by Chalets Bayrou. The color palette—taupe, gray, beige, and white—reflects the serene beauty of the surrounding landscapes, creating a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. "To give the classic mountain decor a bit of a rock ‘n roll twist, we’ve added photography by Claude Gassian throughout the house."
As a result, Mick Jagger presides over the fireplace, Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg add charm to the living room, and Daft Punk makes a surprise appearance around a hallway corner. If a guest falls in love with any of these iconic prints, they can order one as a unique and memorable vacation keepsake—certainly more distinctive than the usual sausages and chestnut creams!
