Nestled in a small private hamlet in Courchevel Village, just 350 meters from the slopes, Chalet Kandahar spans 370 square meters. This luxurious retreat, completed in the winter of 2023, stands out immediately for its relatively understated aesthetic. It highlights the clean use of noble materials and introduces modern decor elements with a vintage style, giving this place a unique identity. The expansive windows reveal breathtaking alpine panoramas. As night falls, a stunning retro-illuminated mountain landscape takes over the pool area, creating a warm atmosphere.
A true winter chalet.
The Chalet comes equipped with an elevator designed to facilitate seamless movement throughout, offering a level of comfort ideal for winter sports enthusiasts. Right from the main entrance, guests will find a convenient ski room. On the same floor, there’s a spacious swimming pool equipped with a counter-current system and a massage room featuring a hammam, enhancing the overall experience.
A vast area dedicated to après-ski awaits in the basement, serving as a sanctuary of relaxation and entertainment. It’s outfitted with a foosball table, a pinball machine, arcade games, a bar, a wine cellar, and a cozy private cinema. This makes it the ultimate spot for unwinding and having fun after spending the day on the slopes.
The bedrooms are distributed between the first floor, comprising three spacious rooms, each with a private balcony, and the third and final floor, offering a certain level of privacy. Between these two levels lies the social heart of the Chalet: the living room, with its fireplace and panoramic view, the dining room accommodating twelve people, and the open kitchen, equipped with Leicht and KitchenAid appliances.

The Chalet combines impressive architecture, showcasing aged wood, oak flooring, and natural stones, with high-end comfort. Its timeless decoration blends soft colors, beautiful materials, and playful touches, including elements such as large backlit retro photos arranged on the ceiling and vintage ski drawings. Furniture from prestigious brands such as Sabba sofas, Ethnicraft furniture, Isidore Leroy wallpapers, Maison Yak throws, cushions, and lighting, linens from Vosges by Garnier-Thiebaut, and Treca bedding offer subtle sophistication and enhanced comfort.
This achievement is the work of Boris Glise, who is from a family of ski instructors spanning several generations. His experience in the hospitality industry in Courchevel, genuine sensitivity, attention to detail, and the choice of discreet and indirect lighting combined with his local construction expertise were crucial in realizing the Chalet Kandahar, his latest project to date.

To enhance its high-end offerings even further and provide a hassle-free stay, Chalet Kandahar offers a wide range of exclusive services, including breakfast service, daily housekeeping, a private shuttle to the ski slopes, and the preparation of afternoon snacks and teatime. For a personalized experience, the Chalet also provides options such as private ski lessons, the presence of a chef, and massage sessions, catering to every desire.
The proximity to the Grangettes gondola makes access to Courchevel 1850 and the 3 Vallées, the largest ski area in Europe, convenient. Another option is to stay cozy by the fireplace or enjoy the 40 sqm terrace with panoramic views of Dent du Villard and Bellecôte Glacier, adding the finishing touch to the exceptional experience Chalet Kandahar offers.
