An alpine gem in the heart of Combloux
"The chalet is perfectly equipped for a stress-free stay."
Just 2 km from the Princesse gondola and the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, Chalet Double M is a true mountain retreat for nature lovers. Built in 2023 by local craftsmen Eric and Jean Lou Paiani, it perfectly combines tradition and modernity with its old timber façades, contemporary lines, and a layout designed for rental while remaining intimate in scale. Covering 320 m², the chalet can accommodate up to twelve guests, offering a setting where comfort and authenticity meet, in both winter and summer.
« I was looking for a chalet with character in Combloux, but nothing felt quite right, so I decided to build it myself, » says Jean Lou Paiani, proud of this family project. The chalet stands out for its spacious, light-filled living area, where large windows frame sweeping views of Mont Blanc, the Fiz Massif, and the Aravis Range. Between the two lounges separated by a central stone fireplace, the welcoming dining area, and the open-plan kitchen, every detail has been designed for sharing moments with family and friends.
The story
of Chalet Double M
Eric and Jean Lou Paiani are no strangers to construction. This project gave them the chance to bring together their family expertise and their shared passion for the mountains. “The idea was to create a chalet that radiates comfort but also tells a story,” explains Eric Paiani.
From the design to the finishing touches, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The natural materials, the choice of furniture, and the artwork all reflect a deliberate artistic sensibility. Chalet Double M is more than just a rental; it is the expression of a family’s vision and their love for Combloux and its surrounding landscapes.

The chalet’s interior combines contemporary furniture with artistic flair. Vetsak sofas and Athezza furnishings bring comfort and practicality, while artworks from Galerie Novarino and Julien Gudea’s original matchstick installation add a distinctive, playful touch.
The bathrooms also stand out for their high-end Antonio Lupi fittings, with bathtubs and sinks that invite long moments of relaxation after a day in the mountains. The décor is subtly contemporary without ever feeling austere, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

In winter, the 400 km of slopes at Évasion Mont-Blanc are within easy reach, while in summer, Combloux’s Lac Biotope invites swimming and relaxation with Mont Blanc as a backdrop.
