"The chalet was thoughtfully designed as a place for joyful moments with friends and family—something that’s even reflected in its name!"
Established in Méribel since 1963, the family behind Chalet des Amis has passed down its passion for hospitality through generations. Hoteliers from father to daughter—and also ski rental providers—this Méribel family has always aimed to offer guests more than just a place to stay. In 2022, they acquired an old, abandoned chalet in a prime location, close to shops and a picturesque stream. After six months of extensive renovations, Chalet des Amis was born—a place where comfort, accessible luxury, and warm hospitality come together.
Designed to accommodate up to 15 guests across six equally spacious and well-appointed suites, Chalet des Amis offers a clever layout that ensures everyone has plenty of room to relax. Fully equipped for an unforgettable stay, days here are spent skiing—the slopes are just a minute’s drive away, with a shuttle service provided morning and evening—playing in the dedicated game room, unwinding in the indoor pool, or warming up in the sauna (or even basking in the garden when the sun is out). All of this comes with services worthy of a luxury hotel. Life in Méribel doesn’t get much better than this!

During the renovation, the objective was clear: preserve the chalet’s soul while incorporating modern comforts for a top-tier experience. Interior designer Victoria Dallery, along with her sister Cécilia—who owns the chalet with her husband Philippe—led the transformation of the spaces.
The chalet’s rare flat-roof structure, unusual for Méribel, was retained, while the attic was removed to create a spectacular cathedral ceiling. The original walls were preserved, and the layout was reimagined to seamlessly blend warmth with contemporary elegance. Special attention was given to optimizing the interior volumes and adding luxurious amenities, including a pool and a cinema room. Designed for families and groups of friends—including children—the chalet offers plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their own activities before coming together in the expansive, inviting living areas.

Chalet des Amis stands out for its meticulously curated décor, striking the perfect balance between elegance and warmth. Natural tones and materials—local stone, reclaimed wood, and soft whites—create a soothing, refined atmosphere where guests feel instantly at home.
Owners Cécilia and Philippe searched through barns and family homes to find unique pieces, adding a deeply personal touch to the chalet. They also collaborated with local artists to enhance the space, featuring works by Monsieur Lemdi and Antoine, both artists from the region.

For entertainment, the game room is packed with fun for all ages, featuring a pool table, foosball, darts, and even karaoke. The chalet also boasts a garden, a pétanque court, and a little stream – a truly postcard-perfect setting.
The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of Chalet des Amis, from the choice of materials to the high-end amenities: plush sofas, soft carpeting, and hotel-quality bedding ensure a restful night’s sleep before another day on the slopes. The service is just as exceptional. Each winter morning, a housekeeper prepares breakfast and ensures everything is just right. For an even more indulgent stay, guests can hire a private chef for tailor-made meals. Just like home—but even better!
