"A green haven where parents, children, and grandparents gather and also take the time to reconnect with themselves."

In this secluded Provençal haven, Fany and her family brilliantly share their definition of successful vacations together. “The timeless large gatherings where we plan for the future, moments dedicated to oneself with just a book, or simply practicing the art of doing nothing by the pool.” Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, this rental estate offers a truly unique setup that is ideal for large families seeking ample space. Styled like a miniature village, it features the main five-bedroom house, a pool house, a guest house, a fitness house, and even two caravans, all capable of accommodating up to sixteen people! And that’s not all! The property also includes 1000m² of outdoor space, ensuring that everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, has plenty of room to spread out. It’s a realm of endless possibilities where daily life can be endlessly reinvented.

An old farmhouse open to the outside,
embodying the passions of its owners.

With its large garden, Le Mas des Amis gives the illusion of being isolated in the heart of nature just a few meters away from the bustling town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. This charming old farmhouse is delightful to inhabit in any weather, thanks to numerous French doors that ensure not a moment of the outdoor spectacle is missed. Around the property, about ten hackberry trees, plane trees, and olive trees occasionally sway in the mistral wind, adding to the serene Provençal atmosphere.

As one explores the ground floor – where the common living spaces and two initial bedrooms are found – one can feel the owners’ taste for blending styles and their commitment to heritage. Such as the old blacksmith’s workbench – a nod to a family ancestor’s profession – repurposed into a bench in the entrance. As you ascend the staircase to the first-floor bedrooms, you encounter paintings by Fany’s mother, adding a personal touch, and discover the numerous books scattered throughout the farmhouse. This attention to detail creates an interior that stands in stark contrast to impersonal vacation rentals, imbuing the space with warmth and history.

And in the middle, a river flows…

In this quaint hamlet, city dwellers yearning for a touch of greenery will find just what they’re looking for, as will their children! Crossed by a small stream where youngsters can chase ducks, the one-hectare park of Le Mas des Amis is organized around various cultivation spaces for those who wish to try their hand at gardening. A vegetable garden, a greenhouse, an olive grove, and even a rose garden supply the local products used by the in-house cook of the house. Guests can enjoy her hearty dishes in multiple settings: inside the dining room on hot days, at the large table in the summer kitchen, or even in the greenhouse, which the owners particularly recommend for dining. The possibilities for enjoyment are endless!

The soulful addition of Le Mas des Amis
its bohemian-inspired caravans

An homage to the local Provençal culture, the two wooden caravans of the estate seem to have always been part of the landscape. The first one was designed as a parental suite within a double caravan to accommodate a sleeping area, a kitchenette, and (a surprise) an elegant metal bathtub! Here, everything is carefully chosen to respect the tradition of this bohemian and nomadic habitat, to which Fany’s family is deeply attached.

The second caravan, on the other hand, is reserved for children. It’s a dedicated play space they won’t want to leave. Within its charming wooden confines, kids can create their own little world, weaving countless tales among siblings, cousins, or friends before venturing out into the green corners of the estate for more adventures. Living the good life!
