"I have a deep passion for antique hunting and interior design, both of which are beautifully showcased at the Relais Ronsard."
After acquiring the breathtaking Domaine de Ronsard—an old Perche farmhouse reimagined as a venue for weddings, receptions, and other celebrations—Vincent expanded his vision with the Relais Ronsard. This former clothing workshop, built in 1870, is situated on Rue des Tailleurs in the charming village of Saint-Cyr-la-Rosière, near Bellême (a Petite Cité de Caractère and ranked among the five most beautiful villages in France in 2019). Covering 250 m², Vincent has infused the space with rustic charm, blending refined elegance with vintage interior design to craft a warm and welcoming countryside escape.
With six double bedrooms and a cozy dormitory for four, the Relais Ronsard offers comfortable accommodations for up to 16 guests. At the rear of the house lies a charming cottage garden and a heated pool, perfect for soaking up the sun on leisurely afternoons. Located just two hours from Paris, it’s the ideal countryside retreat for city dwellers in search of tranquility. The added bonus? A concierge service that takes care of everything, allowing guests to fully unwind. Among the highlights is a delightful organic breakfast featuring homemade jam, fresh bread and pastries, and apple juice from the on-site orchard—where guests are welcome to stroll and soak in the serene surroundings.
From a 19th-Century workshop
to Relais Ronsard
As an interior designer and architect with a sharp eye for exceptional properties, Vincent saw the potential of what would become the Relais Ronsard the moment he discovered it in 2022. Inspired by the soft pink tones of the marble fireplace veins, he began envisioning the home’s ambiance and style.
To elevate the space, Vincent sourced noble materials from both near and far: “I found 17th-century terracotta tiles on Le Bon Coin, the pine flooring for the bedrooms comes from a sawmill in the Landes, and the tiles were imported from Morocco.” These elements, paired with polished concrete and linen, create a harmonious blend of textures and tones. The result? A charming village retreat with timeless elegance and comfort, perfect for a memorable stay.

Passion
for interior design

In this thoughtfully restored Perche home, Vincent has curated a refined and eclectic interior design that beautifully complements the raw materials of Relais Ronsard. His diverse inspirations shine through: Scandinavian touches are paired with a Napoleon III bench, Baumann chairs—staples of industrial style—and fabrics from Pierre Frey and Missoni. It’s a carefully curated mix of styles, unified by a keen eye for aesthetics.
“Everything has been sourced, except for the bedding and appliances,” Vincent explains. Beyond furnishing the rooms, he also designed the kitchen and bathroom furniture and even painted some of the artwork adorning the walls. Every detail reflects Vincent’s dedication and meticulous craftsmanship, bringing character and charm to every corner of the house.
Holidays
made in Perche
Nestled within the Perche Regional Natural Park, Relais Ronsard serves as an ideal base for discovering the trails and scenic beauty of the Perche countryside. Located near the iconic towns of Bellême, Nogent-le-Rotrou, and Mortagne-au-Perche, each brimming with charm, a visit to all three is highly recommended.
The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities: follow the “Route des Manoirs” to admire the region’s 16th- and 17th-century manors, try your hand at mushroom picking, enjoy a hot air balloon ride, hike or kayak through the serene landscapes, or explore the famed flea markets—dubbed by Vincent as “the paradise of antique fairs.” Of course, you can always opt to stay in, curl up by the fireplace, and lose yourself in the pages of The Baron in the Trees. It’s the slow life in the countryside, easily accessible from Paris!
