An alpine refuge with quiet luxury

“It is a true haven, stylish and filled with light, designed for unforgettable moments with family and friends.”

Originally built several decades ago, Chalet Atlas was fully renovated in 2020 to strike the ideal balance between mountain charm and modern comfort. With its stone façades, wide wooden beams, and large windows that frame the snowy peaks, every corner reflects the spirit of the mountains.

Inside, the space stretches over four levels, each one balancing time together with moments of privacy. On the garden level, a spa like atmosphere sets the tone, with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and cosy bedrooms for the whole family. One floor up, the bright living room with its fireplace becomes the heart of the chalet, while the mezzanine offers a perfect corner for games or reading, a small retreat for quieter moments.

Mont d’Arbois,
lying beneath you

Chalet Atlas is located in a private and secure hamlet on the prestigious Mont d’Arbois, just a short walk from the ski lifts and the village of Megève. The panoramic views of the Aravis peaks and Mont Charvin are breathtaking, especially when the sun catches the fresh snow.

The chalet has been completely redesigned by renowned Alpine designers with one clear intention: to preserve the character of a traditional chalet while offering the comfort of a top tier mountain hotel. Large windows and generous open spaces create a natural dialogue between indoors and outdoors, giving you the feeling that the mountains have stepped right into the living room.

“Guests love beginning the day with breakfast overlooking the snow covered mountains before heading straight to the slopes from the ski room.”

Wood
and light

Inside, Chalet Atlas exudes an understated kind of luxury. Brushed wood, stone, and glass pair with contemporary lines to create a warm, light filled cocoon. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the master suite, complete with a dressing room and terrace, offers a perfect retreat from everyday life.

The closed kitchen is fully equipped, though most guests are happy to leave the cooking to the chalet’s private chef. A TV lounge with a library and a cinema room make it easy for even the most home loving guests to enjoy the mountains without stepping outside.

Among the owners’ favourite features are the sun drenched indoor pool, the living room with its fireplace, and the quiet setting of the hamlet.

Skiing, gastronomy,
and Savoyard charm

After a day of skiing, nothing beats slipping back into bed.

After a day of skiing, nothing beats slipping back into bed.

Mont d’Arbois is more than a holiday destination. It is a real playground for anyone who loves the mountains. Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, or simply wandering through the pine forests, there is always something to do. And the village of Megève, with its picturesque streets, gourmet restaurants, and boutiques, is only minutes away.

For food lovers, Chalet Atlas provides a welcome basket filled with local products, and Megève’s culinary scene is just as tempting, from Savoyard fondues to artisanal chocolateries and sunny terraces with sweeping views of the peaks. After a day on the slopes, nothing beats a quiet spa session in the chalet or a cosy dinner by the fireplace to end the day.
