Nestled between unspoiled nature and understated elegance, La Bergerie is a peaceful haven in Eygalières. Whether with family or friends, it’s the perfect place for a Provençal getaway — hiking through the Alpilles, napping beneath the olive trees, and sipping apéritifs with a view.
The prettiest stone cottage in the Alpilles
"The house is warm and inviting — a place where you instantly feel at ease, with soothing views of the Alpilles on one side and the village on the other."
Tucked at the foot of the Alpilles, just a ten-minute walk from the charming village of Eygalières, La Bergerie is a holiday home designed for gathering and unwinding. With room for twelve — ten adults and two children — everyone has their own space: six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a bright, spacious living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor spaces made for living al fresco, all year round.
The garden, with its heated pool and breathtaking mountain views, blends seamlessly into the surrounding nature. Inside, polished concrete, natural materials, and soft tones create a soothing atmosphere. And for those looking to balance relaxation and energy, there’s a gym, massages on offer, and plenty of lounging in the sun.
A love-at-first-sight
story

The charming kitchen opens out to the outdoors.
Before La Bergerie, there was a plot of land — long coveted — and then a first house. “For over ten years, we spent every summer in Eygalières,” says owner Manon Tiano. “And then one day, we found this land, right at the foot of the mountains. It just felt right.”
The original idea was simple: to build a small guest house. But as is often the case in Provence, projects take their time — and tend to grow along the way. The result? A true family home, designed for children, endless summer dinners, and the kind of reunions you look forward to all year long.
A build
crafted to perfection
To build La Bergerie, the owners called upon the Bosc brothers, renowned local artisans who had already partnered with them on their first project. “We wanted the house to blend seamlessly into its surroundings. It had to be stone, understated, rooted,” explains Manon.
And that’s exactly what they achieved: traditional facades, local materials, and clean lines. The floors are laid in natural stone, the bathrooms feature zellige and polished concrete, and the fireplace — reimagined with local stone — includes a built-in bench. Around the pool, more stone extends the continuous thread between architecture and landscape.

A home
by Manon Tiano
The owner, Manon Tiano, is an interior designer — and it shows. “We started with a blank canvas. I wanted it to be soft, warm, and inviting. A place where you simply feel at home,” she says. Mission accomplished: the house is a cozy haven, where you live barefoot, surrounded by natural colors — beige, taupe, olive — and beautiful materials.
A few touches of black steel add contrast to the softness, while the furniture — from Maison de Vacances, Caravane, and Rock the Casbah — sets the tone. Among her favorite details? “The large picture window in the staircase, the view of the village from the living room, and this open living space that flows into the garden, bathed in light.”
From the Alpilles to the Baux,
welcome to Provence
In Eygalières, life follows the rhythm of the seasons and the cicadas. You can set off on a hike right from the house, hop on an e-bike to explore the ridges of the Alpilles, or simply stroll through the market and the village’s charming streets.
Just a few kilometers away, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence offers lively streets and architectural charm, while Les Baux-de-Provence captivates lovers of ancient stones. And for history or art enthusiasts, Arles is never too far, with its Roman amphitheater and exhibitions inspired by Van Gogh.

After exploring the nearby villages, we return for a peaceful, cool retreat.
