The most stylish villa in Lanzarote

"The house is perfect for a getaway with your partner, family, or friends. Enjoy sunny afternoons by the pool, all in an exceptionally peaceful setting."

Nestled at the top of a hill in Macher, with stunning views over the Puerto Calero harbor, the ocean, and the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura, La Cabaña is the perfect spot for a tranquil getaway. With room for ten guests, it offers five spacious double bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and its own en-suite bathroom.

Surrounded by a lush garden and a terrace that leads to a heated pool — perfect for lounging under the Lanzarote sun — the property combines modernized traditional architecture with interior décor inspired by local artist César Manrique. La Cabaña blends modern comfort with island charm, striking the perfect balance between the spirit of the island and contemporary living.

A home,
a love affair

La Cabaña was built in the 1970s, in a style typical of Lanzarote, with clean lines and local materials. "We wanted to preserve the authenticity of traditional architecture while adding a modern touch," explain the owners — a couple passionate about vintage furniture and interior design.

In 2021, they undertook a complete renovation to breathe new life into the house, while paying tribute to the work of César Manrique — the visionary architect who helped shape the island’s identity. Their goal? To honor the soul of Lanzarote while offering guests the utmost comfort.

A step
back in time

The interior of La Cabaña exudes the simplicity and elegance of a bygone era. "Every piece of furniture was carefully sourced from flea markets across Europe to recreate the atmosphere of the 1950s and ’60s — the period when César Manrique left his mark on the island," explain the owners.

From floor to ceiling, the house is dressed in pristine white, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The use of volcanic stone throughout, both inside and out, adds a rustic touch that contrasts beautifully with the home’s modern layout.

What’s a stay at La Cabaña like? First, it’s about soaking up the peace and quiet. Then, it’s time to explore the island’s many treasures. Just a ten-minute drive away, the Timanfaya National Park and its lunar landscapes are an absolute must. Also worth a visit: the Mirador del Río and the Jameos del Agua — stunning creations by César Manrique. Always attentive to their guests’ comfort, the owners provide a personalized guide filled with their favorite spots: restaurants, local artisans, and must-see sites. "Lanzarote isn’t a shopping island," they add, "but it’s full of natural and cultural riches."

Guests can also take advantage of a range of services during their stay: housekeeping, concierge service, and — as optional extras — a private chef or grocery delivery. "We want every stay to be as enjoyable as possible," they say.
