Set against the lunar landscapes of Lanzarote, La Casita de Femés offers a one-of-a-kind experience for nature and design lovers. Every window frames a stunning view of the volcanic landscape.
A stylish cocoon in the heart of Lanzarote’s volcanoes
"This retreat is the authentic embodiment of the fusion between nature and architecture."
Nestled on the volcanic island of Lanzarote, between Timanfaya National Park and La Geria, La Casita de Femés was once a 19th-century farmhouse with stables and an agricultural warehouse. "We wanted to transform this historic place into a design retreat, where every stone tells a story," says the owner.
The villa, which opened in 2025 after a careful renovation with the SAL architecture studio, preserves the Canarian spirit with its whitewashed walls and minimalist lines. The mix of contemporary and traditional design creates a harmonious conversation between the past and present.
A villa
designed for comfort and style

La Casita de Femés is made up of two distinct units: Casa Jable, a one-bedroom suite, and Casa Diama, with three bedrooms. Each space is designed to blur the lines between indoors and outdoors, with large windows framing an almost lunar landscape.
Inside, high ceilings highlight a décor that mixes contemporary and vintage pieces, warm wood, and artisanal touches. "We want our guests to feel at home, but with an extra touch of soul and comfort," says the owner. The understated, elegant furnishings allow the breathtaking landscapes to take center stage.
A rejuvenating
vacation
La Casita de Femés is more than just a place to stay; it’s a peaceful retreat. Everything here encourages you to slow down—whether it’s the terrace with an outdoor shower, the hammocks facing the volcanoes, or the patio where you can dine under the stars.
"The most common compliment we get? That our guests sleep deeply, lulled by the beauty of the volcanoes," says the owner with a smile.
The villa is adults-only, making it perfect for couples, friends, or hikers looking for a peaceful escape, away from the usual tourist crowds.

Lanzarote
the island of fire and light
Lanzarote, shaped by dramatic volcanic eruptions in the 18th and 19th centuries, boasts extraordinary landscapes—lava fields, craters, and black sand beaches. Despite its rugged beauty, the mild climate year-round makes it the perfect destination for both relaxation and adventure.
From La Casita de Femés, visitors can explore Yaiza, Puerto del Carmen, or Timanfaya National Park. Hiking, trekking, and horseback riding enthusiasts will feel right at home. The sunsets are legendary, and the stars shine brighter than you could imagine.
