Amore Mio

Built in the 1950s, Amore Mio is more than just a pretty name: it was the very first word spoken by the owners’ son, picked up from his Italian nannies. A word that gave birth to a place — and an adventure. When they rented out the house after moving to the Landes, requests for photo shoots, film shoots, and events quickly started pouring in. Since then, the house has become a playground for brands, creators, and big Sunday gatherings.

Its timeless architecture appeals to everyone, from kids to fashion labels. The decor, both sleek and cozy, adapts effortlessly to all styles. Inside, there are four bedrooms in the main house and a charming guest house in the garden, perfect for a little privacy.

Nothing has been left to chance when it comes to the layout. With its spacious open areas, original beams, and herringbone parquet floors, it instantly feels like home. The ground floor is divided into four distinct zones: a bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy nook perfect for storytime, and a dining room that can seat up to 12 guests around the table.

The guest house, meanwhile, is a little gem on its own — often used for photo shoots or to host friends.

In Rueil-Malmaison, you enjoy a charming village vibe just 20 minutes from Paris. The Château de la Malmaison, former home of Empress Joséphine, is just a few hundred meters from the house. For a breath of fresh air, you can alternate between the Impressionists’ Park, Friendship Park, and Bois-Préau.

The markets on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and the Sunday organic market are a real treat — fresh produce, a lively local atmosphere, and plenty to fill your basket for cooking at home or to inspire a visiting chef.
