A stylish cabin in the woods

“Here, you can enjoy the view, the terraces, and the Nordic hot tub. Read a book while listening to the birds singing and the river flowing.”

Perched on the banks of the Canche, the Bleu Bicoque cabins offer two separate and distinct accommodations for an intimate and rejuvenating experience. La Bleue welcomes families with its three bedrooms, while La Jaune enchants couples with one bedroom (and a pull-out bed for the occasional extra guest).

Arnold and Edgar, the owners, designed these modern hideaways to blend tranquility with closeness to nature. ‘We wanted to create a place where you feel both connected to the river and sheltered from the world,’ they say.

La Bleue:
perched over the water

La Bleue cabin rises on a branch of the Canche thanks to its stilted structure, offering a unique view of a still-operational water mill. Inside, dressed entirely in shades of blue, it exudes comfort with two main bedrooms and a third bedroom with two bunk beds for the kids. Every room is designed to combine functionality and style, from the high-end bedding to the fully equipped kitchen.

The private terrace and Nordic hot tub invite moments of relaxation in direct contact with nature. ‘When you’re in the hot tub at sunset, it really feels like time stands still,’ says Edgar. Families will find a bright, suspended refuge here—perfect for enjoying the river, the birdsong, and shared moments over a movie or a good book.

peace and privacy by the river

La Jaune captivates with its glass structure and cozy atmosphere. Nestled by the river, it provides a peaceful setting for a romantic getaway or a quiet retreat. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed and a TV, while a pull-out bed can accommodate an extra guest.

Every detail has been designed for comfort and serenity, from the functional furnishings to the Nordic hot tub overlooking the water. ‘La Jaune was designed so you can relax without ever feeling cramped,’ explains Arnold. The terraces and small outdoor bench invite you to enjoy the view, read a book, or practice yoga on the provided mat.

A design
that blends seamlessly with nature

Built from wood and inaugurated in December 2024, the Bicoques blend seamlessly into the surrounding forest while offering exceptional views of the Canche.

Every space is optimized like on a boat and features meticulous décor by Camille Conreur, combining vintage finds with pieces from renowned designers.

Among the owners’ favorites: the Cosin lamp and the built-in lounge in La Bleue provide moments of unique contemplation, while the bench at La Jaune becomes a perfect spot to watch the river.
