Just steps from Notre-Dame, Lagrange keeps a low profile at the end of a quiet courtyard in the Latin Quarter. With its retro charm, vintage finds, and five-star comfort, it’s pure Paris — minus the noise.
A vintage-chic home in the heart of Paris
"The house is in the heart of Paris, yet tucked away in a very quiet courtyard."
Tucked away at the back of a courtyard in a residential building in the 5th arrondissement, Lagrange spans three floors — sheltered from the bustle, yet close enough to grab a warm baguette on a Sunday morning. Behind this little gem is Edgar Suites, a collection that’s been turning forgotten spaces into charming urban cocoons since 2016.
Before becoming a cozy hideaway for groups of friends and wandering families, Lagrange was just an abandoned space tucked away at the back of a quiet courtyard. In 2022, Edgar Suites gave it a second life — and let’s just say, the place got quite the makeover: fresh and youthful, yet still full of old-world charm. The house was redesigned around spacious, light-filled rooms.
Style
and comfort
Inside, it’s a cheerful blend of vintage finds (sourced on Selency), wood, leather, and bold splashes of color — pastels, brights, and playful retro touches that don’t take themselves too seriously. Every room feels like a scene straight out of a 1970s movie. The idea? “To make it feel like stepping back into your grandparents’ home” — with all the modern comforts: hotel-quality bedding, ultra-fast Wi-Fi for remote work, air conditioning, and all the streaming services you could want.
The living room is our favorite spot — spacious, light-filled, and perfect for solving the world’s problems over a bowl of olives, while someone stirs the pasta in the open kitchen. And when you’re ready to unwind, just slip away to one of the four bedrooms — three of them with their own en-suite bathrooms.

Everywhere in the house, beautiful decorative details.
“Lagrange interiors can be summed up as: comfort first, without ever compromising on style.”
Bonjour
Paris

Lagrange appears at the far end of a courtyard.
Lagrange is the perfect base for urban explorers. Less than 500 meters from Notre-Dame, right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, you can stroll down Rue Mouffetard, browse books at Shakespeare and Company, sip a coffee on Place de la Contrescarpe, or simply stop to admire yet another classic Haussmannian façade.
It’s a corner of Paris with a village-like vibe, where wandering is half the fun — before heading back to catch a movie in Lagrange’s private screening room.
