A (very) special hôtel particulier by Iconic House

"Iconic House is redefining luxury hospitality in Paris with this private mansion, set on one of Montmartre’s most historic and sought-after avenues."

With Villa Junot, Iconic House brings a breath of fresh air to both Montmartre’s hilltops and the world of luxury hospitality. Founded by brothers Thibaud Elzière and Robin Michel, this collection of “private house hotels” combines the comfort of a five-star stay with the freedom of having a place all to yourself. Their mantra? Effortless elegance, five-star service, and a laid-back, barefoot vibe.

Tucked away in one of the most romantic (and photogenic) corners of the capital, the house looks out over Paris from Montmartre’s leafy heights. A true love letter to the city—its history, its imagination. No honking horns or tourist crowds here: just birdsong, cobblestone streets, and the Sacré-Cœur as your next-door neighbor.

Like home,
only better

Behind its quintessential Parisian façade, Villa Junot reveals a world all its own. Spanning 550 m², every corner is designed for pure enjoyment: five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a children’s room styled like a mini theater, a 120 m² rooftop with sweeping, cinematic views over the city, a secret garden, a movie room, and a wellness space that feels like your own private spa. And the swimming pool? Let’s just say it might tempt you to skip a museum or two.

Of course, it all comes with five-star service: a private chef, daily housekeeping, a dedicated concierge, and your own house manager. “We wanted to create a place where you feel completely at home, without a care in the world,” says the owner. And it works. Everything flows seamlessly, discreetly, flawlessly. Even the kids get their own slice of paradise—with gaming consoles, custom snacks, and surprise treats.

Montmartre,
eternal muse

Montmartre was no random choice. This neighborhood breathes inspiration—home to poets and painters, bohemian nights and pastel dawns. Villa Junot tips its hat to that artistic spirit with a cheeky nod to the Surrealists—fittingly, in the centenary year of the movement.

Inside, subtle tributes to Magritte, Dalí, and Man Ray are scattered like waking dreams throughout the house. An optical illusion-painted library in the master bedroom? That’s Garance Vallée. A dreamlike collage in the living room? Lia Rochas-Pàris. Surreal stained glass windows humming invisible scores? Atelier Toporkoff. “We wanted each room to tell a story, to spark the imagination.” Mission accomplished.

"The real Paris — green, artistic, and romantic, with a breathtaking view over the city."

Originally built in the 1920s for an operetta singer, Villa Junot has kept its soul—and its exquisite flourishes. Masterfully renovated by Claves Architecture, it blends graphic elegance with poetic extravagance: mosaics, stained glass, wrought iron, murals… every detail flirts with the extraordinary, without ever tipping into excess.

The style? A free-spirited Art Deco that dances a confident tango with surrealism. Bold furniture, sensual textures, and colors that are daring yet refined come together to create a vibrant, welcoming stage—perfect for anything from a business seminar or jazz night to a family brunch or sunset aperitif on the rooftop.
