Welcome to L’Oustalet Provença, a sun-kissed farmhouse nestled in the heart of the Alpilles. What’s on the holiday menu? Lazy siestas by the pool, iced tea in the shade of the olive trees, and getaways to the most beautiful villages in Provence.
A sun-drenched farmhouse tucked away in the Alpilles
"People come to L’Oustalet Provença to unwind, to slow down. It’s a haven, a cozy retreat — pure bliss."
Between Orgon and Eygalières, between the sea and the mountains, between sunshine and the song of cicadas — welcome to L’Oustalet Provença. This charming single-storey farmhouse, facing due south, is a holiday home designed for those who love to take their time: to cook, to chat, to nap, to splash around in the pool… and do it all again the next day.
There are three comfortable suites, a secluded 4,000 m² garden, a saltwater pool, a gym (for the energetic), and a pétanque court (for everyone else). In short: a little slice of paradise in the heart of the Alpilles Natural Park, with stunning views of the beautiful Luberon.
Happiness
is in the mas

The mas' pretty summer kitchen.
Built in the 1970s, L’Oustalet Provença — “the little Provençal house” in old Occitan — was a cherished family home for many years. “When we met the former owner, we were lucky enough to learn more about its history and truly understand the spirit of the place,” says Aurélie, the current owner, who has since completely transformed the house.
Everything was reimagined and rebuilt — from floor to ceiling, including the furniture, inspired by Mediterranean homes. From the beds to the wardrobes to the built-in benches, everything was handcrafted. “I wanted each room to feel like a one-of-a-kind creation, where every detail had meaning and style, without compromising on comfort,” she explains. The result: a home designed for year-round living, where the transition from the spacious living area to the shaded terraces feels seamless.
Provence
2.0
Inside, there’s no mistaking it — you’re in Provence! But a reinvented Provence, modern and refined: here, terracotta tiles and stone walls sit alongside beautiful built-in furniture crafted in polished concrete.
Three master suites, a spacious living area designed for sharing, and outdoor spaces that make you want to find excuses not to leave. You move effortlessly from the summer kitchen to the pool, from the pétanque court to the yoga room, with plenty of cozy spots to chat, toast, or dive into a Pagnol novel. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed.
“We wanted the space to feel sleek and minimalist at first, choosing to forgo traditional furniture and build all the fixtures ourselves, inspired by the Greek houses lining the Mediterranean. Then we wanted it to be Provençal — because we deeply love our region — and took great pleasure in bringing it to life by hunting for unique pieces at local flea markets, knowing their stories and giving them a new life here at L’Oustalet.”

Charming objects even in the bedrooms.
A holiday
that smells of Provence
On holiday at L’Oustalet Provença, you could easily spend the whole week doing nothing but listening to the cicadas by the pool — but the region is packed with gems waiting to be discovered. Just a few kilometers away, postcard-perfect villages follow one after another: Gordes, Ménerbes, Lourmarin, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, and Avignon for lovers of culture and great food. “Our region is truly unique, rich in culture, festivities, gastronomy, and tourism,” says Aurélie.
The owners have their favorite spots: “At Karine’s or Paulette’s in Eygalières, or the train station bistro in Mollèges.” Perfect places for big family gatherings. For food lovers, head to Charly’s biscuit shop in Saint-Andiol or Les Délices du Luberon in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. And to bring a bit of Provence back home, pack some lavender sachets by Elsa Lenthal or a decorative piece from Pampa boutique in Saint-Rémy.
