Situated across from each other, Villa Touquettoise and Villa Cape Cod are two charming half-timbered townhouses. "La Bleue" and "La Rouge" are just 200 meters from the sea and come with their own beach cabin. Pure luxury!

A stylish cottage on the Opal Coast
The house is cleverly designed, with the two suites set apart from each other to ensure plenty of privacy, while a spacious living room brings everyone together for relaxed, convivial moments."
Just a few kilometers from the sea, nestled at the foot of the old mill’s former sails, La Maison du Meunier — once home to the mill’s caretakers — now welcomes four guests into a warm, colorful, and joyfully retro space. Thoughtfully designed, it strikes the perfect balance between comfort, independence, and shared moments.
Two separate suites (East and West), a spacious living room, and a kitchen equipped like Grandma’s — only better. Everything’s in place for a cozy holiday with friends or family (grown-up kids only!). With a terrace, firepit, pétanque court, and fresh bread delivered each morning — plus mid-stay cleaning included — it’s all about kicking back and taking it easy.

The great mill
in the countryside
“After a busy city life in Lille, we felt the need to slow down, breathe in the salty sea air, and watch the seasons change in real life — not just on Instagram,” say Jérémy and Nicolas, the owners.
That desire led to the creation of Moulin Moulin, a guesthouse that quickly built a loyal following — and caught the attention of the press. In 2021, the neighboring building, a late-19th-century white-brick farmhouse, underwent a full transformation. A good dose of elbow grease (and a few buckets of paint) later, La Maison du Meunier was born — and its charm restored. So long, ’90s apricot walls — hello, reimagined authenticity.
“We wanted to let the house speak again, to give it back its original voice,” they explain. Original floors were preserved, tongue-and-groove ceilings painted tone-on-tone, vintage school sinks turned into designer basins, old windows repurposed as bookshelves… Every detail tells a story — a dialogue between past and present. All of it brought to life by the two of them, with no architect, just plenty of vision and inspiration.

Welcome to an interior full of flair — starting with the bold color palette, created in collaboration with Maison Jeannette. It plays a big part in the home’s charm, though it actually stemmed from a constraint. “The multicolored earthen floor drew all the attention, so we chose strong hues to create a sense of harmony,” explains Nicolas. Another inspired move: painting the ceilings and walls the same color, creating an ultra-cozy “box” effect.
As for the decor, it’s a seamless mix of vintage finds, designer pieces, and repurposed objects. Standouts include ceramic lighting by Bello & Bello, bathroom sinks salvaged from an old school, the bed frame in the “West” bedroom, and a bookshelf in the living room — all crafted from old window frames found in Moulin Moulin’s cellar and carefully given a second life.
Salt-kissed strolls
and simple pleasures
No sooner have you dropped your bags at La Maison du Meunier than you’re off to explore the area. Whether it’s hiking the dunes of Mont Saint-Frieux, cycling to the Canche Bay, or strolling along the ramparts of Montreuil-sur-Mer — here, nature and heritage go hand in hand.
And when it comes to food? You’ll enjoy delicious meals at local favorites recommended by the owners, plus a complimentary homemade dinner waiting for you upon arrival. “No shopping, no stress — just the joy of sitting down to eat as soon as you get here,” says Nicolas, who’s truly thought of everything to give guests the warmest welcome in his (very) beautiful home.
